Summer 2016 has seen the world’s best athletes competing at the Paralympic Games in Rio. The Active Kids Paralympic Challenge inspires schools and young people to learn more about Paralympic sports, try them out, and provides exclusive high profile prizes for taking part.
Taking part is simple. All you need to do is register your school to access the downloadable challenges and resources until the closure of the programme on 30th September 2016. The free Active Kids Paralympic Challenge equipment packs are now out of stock but teachers registering will still receive 100 Sainsbury’s Active Kids vouchers, which can be exchanged for sports and cooking equipment to be used in your school.
The Active Kids Paralympics Challenge is split into three phases:
Challenge young people to travel the distance to Rio by downloading Get Set’s Road to Rio app. Within the app choose the Paralympic Challenge sports and log your activity and you can win special badges.
